Your Experience from Selection to Installation

Most people who are interested in replacing current countertops with granite have never been through this process before.  Here's what you can expect to experience as you look forward to your new kitchen.

• Call Cornerstone Granite at 717-367-0405 to make an appointment.
  
• When you come to meet with us please bring a sketch of your kitchen with general  measurements.
  
• During our meeting we'll discuss your color preferences and walk through our large inventory of stone.  You will choose your stone, select the edge type you prefer, the sink style etc.  We'll give you a quote before you leave.
  
• We will also schedule the project and assist in coordinating the installation with your cabinet maker.
  
• When the date arrives, we will send a crew to your home to make templates of your counter tops. These are used to determine the exact size of your cabinets. It is much more accurate then taking simple measurements.
  
• On remodels, if needed, we would remove your existing countertops and prepare the cabinets for granite tops.
  
• Once we have the templates in our shop, they are carefully laid out on the slabs you selected and cut into components that will become your countertops.
  
• After the parts are cut to shape, they are digitized on our laser based digitizing system and modified in the AutoCad software.
  
• Having cut & digitized the parts they are then placed into or CNC stone processing machine. Our CNC will produce very accurate parts and perfect edgework.
  
• Once the parts are finished, they are carefully loaded on a trailer and transported to your home for installation.
  
• On installation day please remove all items from your cabinets. We'll need clear access from outside your home to your kitchen.  The work may take between two to six hours depending on the size and complexity of your installation.
  
• We will finish the job by polishing any seams that may be involved in your countertops. This high-end process sets our company apart from our competitors. It produces a seam that is almost impossible to feel.
  
• Finally, we stand behind our granite slab installations with a LIFETIME warranty!  As long as our company is in business, and as long as you own your home, you can rest assured we will stand behind our product.
